Fixing Shared Google Calendars IOS 7

So I recently upgraded my iphone 5 to IOS7, then recently noticed that all the shared calendars I had which used to work no longer work….

After much digging there is a solution. By default it appears shared google calendars are no longer enabled by default for IOS7 (possible all older versions too).

In order to fix do the following:

  1. Login to your google account
  2. Go to https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect 
  3. Tick any shared Calendars you wish to view on your IOS device
  4. Save and then open your calendar app on your apple device and everything should be showing again.
